2013 was a busy year, with highs and lows.
January took us to Seattle, where Nani became a new American champion, four shows three majors!
Our next trip was to Whitehorse/Yukon, beautiful scenery, bears and bison!
While Nani and I did the show, Uwe and my sister went whitewater rafting. Nani came home with 6 group placements, 4 group 1's!
Next in July was the Canadian Specialty-Nani Best of opposite sex.
September brought the Old English Sheepdog Fanciers of Western Canada Specialty-Nani Best In Specialty!!
October we headed to St Louis for the American National, but made a stop in Winnipeg/ Manitoba, where Nani got her first Best In Show!! Thanks to her co-breeder Val Bandas for showing her!
On we went to the National, no prizes for us, but a great time visiting friends we don't get a chance to see often.
On a sad note, in September we said goodbye to DudleyAm.Can.CH TumbleweedValubal to Dezignerz. Dudley finished his Canadian Champioship in 2012, then went to be shown in the US. In July he travelled to his home in Australia to be part of the Zammitt family. Sadly he became ill after only being out of quarantine for a few weeks. Our hearts were broken, he was a character, beautiful, and a more loving dog couldn't be found. Our heartfelt thanks go out to Fiona and Rob for loving him and giving him the best home possible.
